Life List

I have to admit, there are a few things I want to accomplish. As I figure them out, I'll add them to the list.

1. Make my own herbal tea from home grown (organic!)herbs.

2. Read all of the Oz works, by L. Frank Baum. One book down, fifteen to go.

3. Run a 5k.

4. Have a big, serious, producing organic garden.

5. Read the following books to my children: The Chronicles of Narnia, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There. Plus, others I come across along the way. Mainly, read books to my children.

6. Visit Skandinavia.

7. Grow my own culinary mushrooms.

8. Be able to make bread from memory, do so often.

9. Memorize my grandfather's kolachky recipe. Sort of like this, but closed.

10. Be conversational in a least two other languages: ASL and Spanish.

11. Get another degree (and have a decent GPA this time). MA of Landscape Architecture from UT.

12. Have a greywater system in our home.

13. Have rainwater collection barrels.

14. Use Edible landscaping.

15. Own my own business.

16. Make a Sourdough starter.

17. This should be up near #5: Have children.

I made it to 25 and ran out of things. We have some common items (bread, for example; 5k for example).

I don't think that size matters, Ellie. ;) Twenty-five is plenty ambitious!

Size doesn't matter at all. As long as you are getting what you want out of life that is all that matters. Maybe you only have one thing left that you feel you must do before you die. My list is simply to remind me to go out and live each day fully.
