Today as I left work a coworker said, "You look nice today, Q," only I heard, "We did nice today, Q," so I kept walking and said over my should, "Yep, very nice." After a few steps I realized that wasn't quite right. To keep from looking like a total asshole I walked back to her car and apologized.
