More horrible news yesterday. Gabe's brother Jeff, who was to be married in August, frantically called us yesterday morning looking for Gabe's parents. His fiancée, Janet, had collapsed while on her walk and was pronounced dead before he even knew something was wrong. When she didn't return home from her walk he went to look for her, and finally spoke with police who told him that they had found a woman who matched her description. He later identified her body. She had apparently suffered a heart attack and died at the age of 31. I hate to blaspheme, but God's aim is way off. This is no. 2 who was in no way ready for death. Gabe's parents and his brother are on their way back to Dallas today with her things so that they can prepare for Janet's funeral on Wednesday.
