Tonight I left work feeling accomplished. Casey and I had dinner at Mandola's Italian Market, and I came home, paid bills and bought myself a few books. I got the two new Homemade Living books from Ashley English, and one about stocking a pantry sensibly and seasonally. Emma and I are now snuggling in bed while Casey does some freelance work.
It was a good day.
I am happy right now. My life is not perfect, there is a lot I'd rather be doing than going to work, but when I am home I am happy. Others might refer to it as blessed.
