Thanks

This morning I hosted a Thanksgiving brunch for a few family members on my father's side of the family. It was so nice to be able to use the dishes and silverware we got during the wedding. It was also great to have them all around, especially Louise, who was told last week that she is cancer free. She went to see a surgeon about having tumors removed after taking chemotherapy to shrink them and he told her that there was nothing to cut.
Dinner with my mon's family was hard at times, but we had so much fun, and did so much laughing.

This is right about the time that Uncle Mark started wishing that he'd taken the time to learn how to carve a turkey before Poppy died.
