Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day

As long as I have a kitchen sink with only one basin, I am not buying any more Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day dish soap.
I love the way it smells, it goes a really long way, and it it good at cutting grease. The problem is, I don't fill my sink with hot soapy water, and then all of the dishes, as they suggest. They never get clean enough that way since I only have one basin. Instead I rinse, scrub with soap and rinse again with hot water. Mrs. Meyers hangs on, though, and I am tired of tasting it on everything I eat. Basil scent does not taste like basil in my soup, cereal, or coffee.
