I have dye in my hair and eyebrows, whitening trays in my mouth, the result is comic. While I wait to wash out the dye, I clean up my bathroom shelves. There I see wax, creme hair remover, scrubs that exfoliate, lotions that tan skin, curlers and irons. Feminine "beauty" is a ridiculous charade, and I buy right into it.

I could never get into that, just putting shampoo in my hair now is difficult.
