The Holiday has been exhausting!

I hope each of you had a merry one!
I have been so busy the past few days that the closest I got to relaxing was this morning at 6 am when I woke up for work. My room was toasty warm, I was wearing my new purple flannel owl pajamas, and it was pitch black. I thought to myself, I am really going to enjoy this tomorrow!
I got a few new books for Christmas. I am starting with Her Fearful Symmetry, by Audrey Niffenegger. I have been looking forward to this book for MONTHS.
I also got a Wii Fit Plus for Christmas. I played some last night - but I am afraid to do any of the aerobic activities, for fear I shake the house so hard that the TV will fall off of the stereo cabinet. Not that I am morbidly obese, it is just that our pier and beam house is rickety!
Today I am working until about 4pm. I am thinking I will Wii fit a bit after work, and then head up to the elementary school down the street to use their track. I have to start running soon, but I want it to be before New Year's day so that a 5k doesn't become a 2010 goal. I need for it to stay a Life List item.
Next month I go back to wedding planning, too! 2010 is going to be a busy year!

Let me know how the Niffenegger book is! The Time Traveler's Wife is one of my favorite books of all time but I haven't read any of her other work.

Em, the book is good, but it isn't the Time Traveler's Wife. I may read it a second time to see if I like it more.

I liked Her Fearful Symmetry. But I had Claire's voice in my head through out the book. It is no Time Traveler's Wife that is for sure. I'm not really sure I liked the ending.
