A Karmic Shout-Out

To the guy at school today who was so worried about his white tennis-shoes getting wet that he didn't look where he was going so that I had to step off of the ledge I was walking along and into the three inches of water.

Sure, I wore flip flops today because I knew it'd be wet and muddy, and didn't want to mess up my work shoes. But I also didn't want to walk through a f-ing deep puddle of cold water in 60-some degree water.

Way to be chivalrous.

Runner Up - To the lady who called me a "dumb-ass bitch" when she and her daughter crossed the street I was trying to turn onto. Presumably because I started to turn and then saw them crossing and stopped. Important note: They were far enough away that I could see ALL of their bodies from head to toe. So I yelled back, "I stopped - didn't I?" Is she dead? No. Is she a horrible person? Most likely. Besides, what mother calls someone a name like that in front of their eight year old daughter? Way to be a role model.

I take back the apologetic smile I flashed you when you were accosted by my headlights.
