Good Things!

* I got another job already! I was hired on the spot at an Austin restaurant with a long history. A GREAT long history. I am so excited - I start Friday at 10 am. I should be done with my training on Monday. Hooray paying bills!

* Horse poop floats! Only a good thing if you are trying to clean up horse poop in a puddle like I was last night. In the dark.

* Which leads right into No. 3 - Rain in Austin 2 days in a row! I have to wonder what the weather is like in Hell right now? Is it getting chilly? The first day of rain was not so helpful. It was a steamy 90 degrees yesterday. However, today is quite nice. I sat in the sun for an hour or so reading before I really broke a sweat.

* My truck, Deuce, was acting crazy, but I think I fixed her! She had N O water in her little water tank. How did that happen? I don't know. I will be keeping an eye on her for leaks. In the mean time I am just happy that she is not over-heating!

* I am losing weight! With out trying! !!! ! I guess it's all of the campus up and down hill/stair walking I've been doing. I suppose the lack of pizza/Italian food doesn't hurt either. I can't wait to fit into my old clothes - it's almost like going shopping with out spending any money. Yippee!

* despite my lack of gushing, I am still in love with Mr. A. I've got my fingers crossed that his work schedule changes soon so that he doesn't hurt himself, or make himself sick, from lack of sleep. It does seem like I never see him though, I miss him.

* My older sister is getting married and having a baby! I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED ABOUT THE BABY! I love babies, but I don't want one of my own for a while. This way I have excuse to spend tons of time with a baby, and love it, and smell it's baby smell, (This smell can be found at the back of their necks, right below their hairline - it's heavenly.) and not have to get pregnant myself. Plus, what girl doesn't love a wedding when it's someone important to her? And I'll be thinner, so maybe my dress will look better. WOW.

I think that is enough exclamation points for now. I guess I'll make my way towards Oceanography class now. Look forward to a reading from a book by Don Marquis that I love - Archy and Mehitabel via GabCast.

WOW that is a lot of exclamation points for one post. Things must be going exceedingly well. Don't you just love it when that happens?
