Here are a few of my Marys. The brunette I got recently from my maternal Grandmother. It had belonged to her mother Louise Corley Novatny, from whom I got my name. The blonde is from my father's mother, who passed away when I was four. I have wondered for a long time who though it was a good idea to make Mary blonde? Despite that I still love the figure. the small white one I made in ceramics. She is from a mold, but her back has huge thorns carved into it. I didn't get a chance to finish it before class was over.
